Her graduate thesis, entitled “The Changing Discourse of Death: A Study of the Evolution of the Contemporary Funeral Industry”, utilized a combined quantitative content and qualitative textual analysis approach to explore articles randomly selected from the funeral industry trade journal Mortuary Management. Lisa’s professional interests include sustainability initiatives, the development and evaluation of community-based resources, citizen-led change movements, and the provision of culturally-competent and age-appropriate services to all people.
